Praying Together

Psalm 65:5–8 (ESV)
1       I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever;
with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.
2       For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever;
in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”
3       You have said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one;
I have sworn to David my servant:
4       ‘I will establish your offspring forever,
and build your throne for all generations.’ ”

Thank you for praying with us. It is only through the Spirit’s work in and through us that disciples will grow and prove faithful..

Praise and prayer:

  • Praise that we have 57 new students at the ETF this year (in Ba, Ma and PhD programs).
  • The housing situation for the Maastricht church is still very difficult. The weather has turned colder, and no other options have come up. We’re buying extra heaters to try and manage the huge cold church auditorium.
  • Pray also for our church to appoint two new elders: one stepped down unexpectedly, another is stepping down in May when his term is completed. Pray for discernment in this important process.
  • Praise for healing of head injury in young man of our church family. Continue to pray for  family, coping with chemotherapy (the treatment is going well). Also pray for several of our elderly folks who have increasing difficulty in the winter months.
  • pray for  neighborhood Christmas outreach and Christmas services
