Praying Together

Psalm 139:1-6 (ESV)

1  O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
2  You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
3  You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
4  Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
5  You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.

Thank you for praying with us. It is only through the Spirit’s work in and through us that disciples will grow and prove faithful..

Praise and prayer:

  • Pray for us – “pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen us with power through His Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith” (Eph. 3:16, NIV)
  • Praise, we’ve found a publisher for the book about evangelical churches in Belgium’s major cities! Pray for wisdom and strength to finish getting it into print (probably in the spring of 2019), and that many will be encouraged by it.
  • The housing situation for the Maastricht church has reached a tipping point. In the next few weeks, it’ll be clear whether we can continue with the project or find another location for our church. Please keep on praying for the Lord’s direction and wisdom throughout the process.
  • Praise the Lord, Jack found teachers for all courses in Practical Theology next year!

Special prayer dates:

  • July, for our ministry of hospitality during the summer months.
  • July, time for writing projects and some church projects
