Exploring Passover

You will meet a man ...

This semester, the focus is on Luke 22:7-16, the passage where Jesus instructs the disciples to prepare for His last Passover with them before his suffering. Our first year theology students pour many hours into translating, comparing, observing, diagramming, interpreting (word study and socio-historical background) and applying this text. Does it sound technical?

It’s fascinating to see how these techniques come alive as students explore the text further than they every did before. They discover new depths in this very familiar passage so their enthusiasm and love for God’s Word grows. It’s a privilege to be part of their spiritual journey.
