Working in A Real Winter

Close fellowship over meals in German farm style

Last week, we participated in BMW’s annual Winter Workshop in Urspring, Southern Germany. Outside, it was a real winter outside, with at least an inch of snow every day. Inside, we enjoyed good fellowship and sensitive discussions in an open atmosphere. We encouraged one another in prayer, just as we want to encourage others in this. And we discussed how we can stand firm for God’s truth in our ministries, which included evangelism, discipleship, pastoral leadership and theological education.

The world's tallest spire

After the intense period of concentrated dissertation writing, this was a welcome change of pace and scenery. We even squeezed in a brief afternoon visit to see the cathedral in Ul, with the tallest church spire anywhere (over 500 ft.).
